Mr. Ucherek is a trial attorney who primarily represents clients in cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, general negligence, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Ucherek has also successfully resolved, through plea bargain and jury verdict, numerous criminal defense matters for his clients charged with various crimes.

Mr. Ucherek is recognized as Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a proud member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for having achieved a trial verdict, award, or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more.

Professional Associations and Activities

Mr. Ucherek was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1994 and is authorized to practice in all state courts in Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.

Mr. Ucherek is on the Board of Directors and a proud member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.  He serves as a Five Day Chair in Austin during the Texas Legislative Sessions aiding the Texas Trial Lawyers Association in connection with protecting and preserving the right to trial by jury as guaranteed by the United States and Texas Constitutions.  He is also honored to serve as the Vice President of Membership for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association for 2017.

Mr. Ucherek is active in his community.  He is a youth basketball official with the North Texas Basketball Officials Association.  Over the last several years, his family has hosted soccer players from the India National Soccer team, the Bantu Rovers from Zimbabwe, Lesoco College from England, CD Fair Play from Colombia, and F.C. Millentor from Germany during the Dallas Cup, one of the premier youth soccer tournaments in the world.  He also attends church with his wife, Brenda, and their three boys. He served as a chaperone at the Sky Ranch Outdoor Education field trip, speaks to Young Men’s Service League groups about the legal issues facing teens today, and conducts mock trials in his children’s schools to teach all students the importance of their Constitutional right to trial by jury.
